The Inventions – From the Mind of Raymond Scott: Creations Known and Unknown

After his tenure on television, Ray “went underground” and immersed himself in electronic inventing. From household items to complex musical devices, his ideas arrived almost daily. He obsessively notated these ideas, most of which only went as far as the drawing board. His fear that someone might steal his concepts thwarted any public release of the inventions. This panel explores the various artifacts that have been uncovered and discusses the potential (or not) of his mysterious innovations. Featuring Irwin Chusid and Jeff Winner, RS archivist.  Moderated by Brian Kehew.
